December is here and I’ve officially been in Europe a whole month! Time has flown by and is sure to continue to do so. The first month was full of slow relaxing days, lots of coffee, much time spent in Magdeburg, girls days, meeting many wonderful people, church, and fighting off a week of the flu.

Throughout that time, I took a couple of weekend trips to Lemgo (a couple hours from Magdeburg), some day trips, spent a lot of time with Rachel and her kids, visited a few Christmas markets, and most recently spent a couple days in Prague with Jake! Tomorrow, I’ll take a train to Amsterdam where I’ll meet my friend, Jada, for a week long girl’s trip across 6 countries. Following that, Rachel and I will board a flight to Rome! The slow days are gone and the travels are here.

Learning the train system has been a good experience. Scootering through the city is nothing short of a good time. Coffee with the ladies and making new friends has been so enjoyable! On top of all of that, the history and architecture in each building and area is truly breathtaking. I can certainly say it’s been an amazing first month.
